Use high-quality pizza flour (like Italian Tipo 00) to get that perfect light, chewy crust and incredible flavor.

Give your dough plenty of time to rise so it bakes up nice and airy.

When shaping the dough, gently press outward from the center to the edges to avoid tearing.

Have fun experimenting with different toppings to find your ultimate flavor combo!

Bake your pizza on a preheated pizza stone for an ultra-crispy crust.

Use fresh ingredients for the pizza sauce to really bring out those big, bold flavors.

Let the pizza cool for a minute or two before slicing so all those delicious toppings can set.

Can You Make Pizza Dough Ahead of Time?

You can easily freeze your prepared pizza dough right after it finishes rising.

That way, you’ll always have a batch ready to go whenever those pizza cravings strike!

When you’re ready to use it, just thaw it out, shape it, and bake as usual.

How Can I Customize This Pizza?

Switch up the cheese! Try mozzarella, sharp cheddar, or even gouda for your toppings.

Add some sautéed veggies like bell peppers, zucchini, or mushrooms for a fresh, tasty upgrade.

Top it with ham, pepperoni, cooked chicken, or your favorite plant-based alternatives to keep things interesting.

Get creative with different sauce bases like pesto or BBQ sauce to give your pizza a unique spin!

How to Make Homemade Pizza Dough

Making Pizza Dough with Fresh Yeast:

First, add the water to the mixing bowl and crumble in the yeast. Then warm for 2 min / 37°C / Speed 2.

Add the olive oil, salt, and flour, and knead for 4 min / Dough Mode until a smooth dough forms.

Using lightly floured or greased hands, remove the dough from the mixing bowl, place it in a lightly oiled bowl, and cover with plastic wrap or a damp kitchen towel. Let it rise in a warm spot for about 2 hours.

Making the Pizza Sauce:

In the meantime, peel and quarter the onion, and peel and halve the garlic clove.

Place them into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec / Speed 6. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with the spatula and repeat once more.

Add the olive oil and sauté for 2.5 min / 120°C / Speed 1.

Next, add the canned tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and simmer for 12 min / 100°C / Speed 1.

When the time is up, blend for 5 sec / Speed 4 and let the sauce cool down.

Shaping and Baking the Pizza:

Preheat your oven to 480°F (250°C).

Generously flour your hands and work surface.

Divide the risen pizza dough into two equal halves and shape each into a smooth ball.

Now, gently press down on the center of a dough ball using your fingertips.

Repeat this a few times, working from the center out toward the edges, until you get that classic round pizza shape.

Take your time and be gentle so the dough doesn’t tear in the middle.

Finally, use the palms of your hands to flatten the dough outward, leaving a nice, raised crust around the border.

Transfer the dough to your pizza stone (or a baking sheet), spread on the pizza sauce, and pile high with your favorite toppings!

Enjoy!
