My Top Baking Tips
Use fresh blueberries: They give the muffins the absolute best flavor and texture.
Don’t overmix the batter: Stirring just until combined keeps your muffins light, tender, and fluffy.
Fill the muffin liners only 2⁄3 full: This leaves plenty of room for them to rise into nice, tall muffin tops.
Let the muffins cool completely before adding the glaze so it doesn’t melt off.
Use high-quality chocolate for the glaze: Good chocolate makes a world of difference in taste!
Get creative with your toppings! You can dress up these muffins with streusel, chopped nuts, or a handful of chocolate chips.
Play around with warm spices: a touch of cinnamon or a splash of vanilla pairs so naturally with blueberries.
Bake them with a little love—you can really taste the difference! 🙂

Can I Make These Muffins Ahead of Time?
These muffins are fantastic for meal prep! Just bake them the day before, let them cool completely, and store them in an airtight container at room temperature.
They also freeze beautifully. I recommend freezing them individually so you can easily pull out just one or two whenever a sweet craving strikes.
Easy Recipe Variations
Swap out the blueberries: Raspberries, diced strawberries, cherries, or red currants all work wonderfully in this recipe.
Mix and match your fruit: Try a combination like blueberry-raspberry or strawberry-cherry for a delicious twist.
Use dried fruit: Dried cranberries, chopped apricots, or raisins add a lovely chewy texture and concentrated flavor.
Sub in honey or maple syrup: Swap out part of the sugar for pure maple syrup or raw honey for a warmer flavor profile.
Fold in chocolate chips: Stir some chocolate chips or mini chunks right into the batter for an extra indulgent treat.
Garnish the glaze with crunch: Sprinkle chopped toasted nuts or toffee bits over the glaze before it sets.
Make them festive: Top with colorful sprinkles or edible glitter to make them extra fun for birthday parties or special occasions!

How to Make Blueberry Muffins with Chocolate Glaze
Instructions:
First, preheat your oven to 450°F.
Rinse and dry your blueberries, discarding any stems or soft berries.
Next, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Scoop out one tablespoon of this flour mixture and toss the blueberries in it to coat them.
Add the room-temperature butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs to the mixing bowl and mix for 1 min / Speed 5.
Pro Tip: Forgot to pull the butter out of the fridge ahead of time? No worries! You can still use it right away—just set the dial to 1 min / 120°F / Speed 5.
Next, add the yogurt, milk, flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda, and mix for another 30 sec / Speed 5 until you have a smooth batter.
Finally, add the blueberries to the mixing bowl and gently fold them in using a spatula.
Line your muffin pan with paper liners and divide the batter evenly among the cups.
Bake the muffin pan on the rack in the lower third of the oven for 5 minutes, then lower the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for another 20 minutes.
Let them cool completely.
While the muffins are baking, rinse and thoroughly dry the mixing bowl.
For the chocolate glaze, add the white chocolate pieces to the mixing bowl and chop 5 sec / Speed 6.
Add the coconut oil and melt 3 min / 113°F (45°C) / Speed 2.
Drizzle or coat the muffins with the glaze and decorate with sprinkles if you’d like.
Enjoy!

By the way, the prep times listed are just averages. Everyone cooks at their own pace, and sometimes things take a bit longer or shorter than expected.
