My Best Tips for Making Baked Pasta
Make sure to let the baked pasta rest for at least 5 minutes after taking it out of the oven before slicing into it.
This gives the casserole time to set so it doesn’t fall apart when served—plus, it cools down enough so no one burns their tongue, which is a total lifesaver when feeding hungry kids!
Want to mix things up? Feel free to toss in extra veggies like broccoli or cauliflower before baking. It’s a fantastic trick for sneaking a healthy serving of veggies past picky eaters! 🙂

Can I Make This Ahead of Time?
Absolutely! You can easily assemble the pasta bake a day in advance and keep it covered in the fridge until you’re ready to bake it the next day.
To do this, just cover the cooled pasta bake with aluminum foil and pop it into the fridge as soon as possible.
How Long Does Baked Pasta Last?
This baked pasta will keep in the fridge for 2 to 3 days. As soon as it cools down, transfer any leftovers to an airtight container and place it in the refrigerator.
You can easily reheat individual portions in the microwave or in a preheated oven.
Bonus: this pasta bake freezes super well, too!
