My Pro Tips for the Best Dessert

Make sure to use a clean, chilled bowl to whip your heavy cream. This helps the cream whip up nice and stiff in no time with your hand mixer.

When folding the whipped cream into the quark and mascarpone mixture, be super gentle and use a rubber spatula. If you stir too hard or too fast, you’ll knock the air out and lose that gorgeous fluffy texture.

A piping bag with a round or star tip is totally optional, but it’s an absolute game-changer for piping the cream neatly and evenly into your glasses. It keeps the edges looking perfectly clean!

Press the halved raspberries right up against the inside of the glasses. This creates a stunning layered look from the outside that makes your dessert look straight out of a bakery.

Can you make this dessert ahead of time and store it?

Yes, you can absolutely prep these dessert glasses ahead of time! Just pop them in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.

Just keep in mind that the crushed Vanillekipferl cookies at the bottom will soften up the longer they sit. If you’re all about that crunch, I highly recommend layering the ingredients right before serving.

Fun Variations

Cookie Crumb Size: Depending on what you like, you can either roughly break the 12 Vanillekipferl cookies for the base into chunky pieces or crush them into fine crumbs.

A Pop of Color: If you happen to have some fresh mint on hand, add a few leaves on top of your finished dessert for a gorgeous, vibrant garnish!

How to Make This Vanilla Crescent Cookie & Raspberry Dessert

Instructions:

Add the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla sugar to a clean, cold bowl. Beat with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form. Set the whipped cream aside.

In a separate bowl, mix the quark and mascarpone until perfectly smooth and lump-free.

Next, add the whipped cream to the quark and mascarpone mixture. Gently fold it in with a rubber spatula until everything is just combined. Be careful not to overmix so the cream stays nice and airy!

Transfer the finished dessert cream into a piping bag fitted with a round or star tip. This makes portioning it out so much easier and gives it that gorgeous, bakery-worthy look.

Roughly crumble 12 of the vanilla crescent cookies. Set the remaining 4 cookies aside for a pretty garnish later.

Evenly divide the crumbled cookies among the bottoms of 4 dessert glasses.

Pipe about half of the cream mixture right on top of the cookie crumbles in the glasses.

Cut the raspberries in half, except for 4 of them. You’ll save those for the garnish later. Place the halved raspberries snugly against the inside edge of the glasses on top of the first cream layer, just like in the picture.

Pipe the rest of the cream over the raspberries in the glasses so they’re completely covered.

Garnish each dessert with one of the whole raspberries and a reserved vanilla crescent cookie. If you have some fresh mint leaves on hand, feel free to add those for a fun pop of color!

Enjoy!

Alright, have so much fun whipping this up!
