My Top Tips for Making Pizza Soup
Instead of plain tomato purée, feel free to use your favorite jarred marinara or pizza sauce! They come in so many delicious flavors like roasted garlic, sweet basil, and more.
This soup pairs so well with a warm slice of homemade flatbread or crusty garlic bread! 🙂
You can also balance out this cozy bowl with a simple, crisp garden salad on the side.
If you’re adding pizza toppings like sliced mushrooms or extra veggies, I recommend sautéing them in a skillet first and stirring them into the soup right before serving.

Can You Make Pizza Soup Ahead of Time?
You sure can! Pizza soup actually gets even better as it sits. You can easily make it 1 to 2 days in advance and store it in an airtight container in the fridge until you’re ready to reheat and serve.
This pizza soup is also perfect for parties or gatherings! You can easily make a big batch ahead of time and simply reheat it right before serving.
How Long Does Pizza Soup Last?
Any leftover soup can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
If you want to freeze your leftovers, just transfer the soup to a freezer bag or freezer-safe container.
It will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.

How to Make Pizza Soup
Prep Work:
Add the ground meat to a skillet and brown it until cooked through. Set aside.
Wash, seed, and core the bell pepper, then finely dice it.
Gently clean the mushrooms with a soft brush, trim off the stem ends, and dice them as well.
Peel the onion and quarter it.
Instructions:
Add the onion to the mixing bowl and chop 5 sec / speed 5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with the spatula and repeat if needed.
Next, add the diced bell peppers, sliced mushrooms, and olive oil.
Sauté for 6 min / 120°C (250°F) / Reverse / Gentle Stir.
Now add all remaining ingredients except the ground meat: the corn, strained tomatoes, water, heavy cream, cream cheese, vegetable broth, pizza seasoning, ground oregano, a pinch of sugar, and salt and pepper (to taste).
Bring to a simmer for 15 min / 100°C (212°F) / Reverse / Gentle Stir.
